You can almost consider this a sister title to DMZ and Scalped, also put out by Vertigo. There is no Lycra or powers, just powerful storytelling and compelling characters. The art is stern and the path walked is one that has been paralleled in “28 Days Later” and similar titles. It is plain where this is going, but I can’t stop reading. Curse you Brian Wood! -Bretzke
