I would have loved this when I was 8, 10 even. But reading it now as a jaded and aged nerd, its all been done. The super-hero team up to defend the world against some massive evil…. thing – its beyond cliche’, even mocking this kind of story is cliche’. Were this the first “Super Team Up” I’d ever read, fantastic! But its not. Too many cooks may spoil the broth, but what does too many heroes do to a story? Make it mundane – Bretzke.
