Comic Review: Northlanders #22, “The Plague Widow, 2 of 8: Heads of Household”.

Bleak.  Dark.  Wrenching.  Expertly written and drawn with the care and delicacy of a ribbon dancer.  This is achingly beautiful like those movies you say you enjoy when asked, so you don’t respond with “Shallow Hal”.  The ferocity of an ungodly situation is brought down to taxation and corruption, but one will stand apart.  Read and be enriched. -Bretzke
